Switching from Monzo Premium to Monzo Plus
Right now there isn’t a way to switch directly from Monzo Premium to Monzo Plus. To move from to the other you’ll need to cancel Premium and then sign up to Plus.
It’s important to mention that if you’re still in your Premium minimum term you may have to pay a cancellation fee, as we explain in the Monzo Premium terms & conditions.
How to cancel Premium and sign up to Plus
Go to the Premium area in your Monzo app and select ‘Cancel Monzo Premium’.
Sign up to Monzo Plus by going to your Profile in the Monzo app or by following this link.

What happens with virtual cards and custom categories
When you cancel Premium we delete any virtual cards you have, but when you sign up to Monzo Plus we give you a chance to get up to 5 of your old virtual cards back again.
The virtual cards you get back will have the same card details as your old ones so there’s no need to update your payment details anywhere.
Any custom categories you had will come back automatically when you sign up to Plus.
