Monzo Premium Fees

Monzo Premium costs £15 per month with a minimum term of 6 months

The monthly payment will come on the anniversary of signup, so if you signed up on the 12th July, the next payment will be on the 12th August. Unfortunately we’re unable to change the payment date.

Please note that sign ups are based on UTC times and that customers cannot pay their Monzo Plus or Premium subscription from a Bills pot.

Cancellation Fees

Cancelling within the 14 day cooling off period

If you ordered a metal card, there is a £50 cancellation fee if you cancel within the 14 day cooling off period. If you didn't order a metal card, there will be no fee when you cancel. We’ll also refund your first monthly fee payment.

Cancelling within the 6 month minimum term

If you ordered a metal card, there is a £50 cancellation fee if you cancel within the 6 month minimum term. If you didn't order a metal card, there will be no fee when you cancel. We’ll refund you for any remaining days in the month you cancel.

Cancelling outside the minimum term

After 6 months all cancellations are free. We’ll refund you for any remaining days in the month you cancel.

Please Note: If we're unable to collect the fee on your payment date, you will see a decline on your account (we’ll also send you an email). We’ll then continue to re-try this payment for the following 6 days. If this continues to decline, on the 7th attempt we will have to collect the payment and take you into an unarranged overdraft, as outlined in our Ts&Cs.

If you are outside the minimum 6 month term then on the 7th attempt we will simply cancel your Monzo Premium subscription.
