Adding a statement descriptor in Stripe
You can customise the information that appears on your customers' bank statement
After a customer places an order with you, Stripe sends basic information about your business and the purchase to your customer's bank.
Depending on the format their bank uses, a combination of the following identifiers will appear on your customer's bank statement:
Your business name
Your website URL
Your business location
Your phone number
Follow the steps below to customise the text that appears on your customers' statement:
Login to your Stripe dashboard
Head to settings (the cog in the top right)
In 'Business settings', click 'Public details'
Edit the 'Statement descriptor' and 'Shortened descriptor'
Once you're done, hit 'Save' at the bottom of the page
If you hover over, or tap on, the information icon on the right, you'll see a preview of what the descriptors looks like on your customers statement.
