What is an easy bank transfer?

An easy bank transfer is a connection to other UK banks that makes it easy for your customers to pay from an invoice or payment link, that's powered by 'Open Banking technology'.

All you have to do is tap on the 'Pay invoice' button in an invoice or payment link sent to you by a Monzo Business customer, which will take you to your bank's website or app to approve the payment. There, you'll see the details (account number, sort code, amount) of the Monzo Business customer you're paying prefilled – so there's no need to manually type in anything.

If we don't support your bank yet, you can make a manual bank transfer using the account details provided, or pay by card (if our business customer has chosen to accept it).

Remember – if you're not sure that you're paying a legitimate company, or for a legitimate product or service, we recommend that you don't make the payment. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
