Is it safe to pay for a product or service by bank transfer?

If you pay by card, we'll be able to help you with dispute rights if something goes wrong. So we recommend paying by card when you're paying for something that hasn't been delivered or completed yet.

If you pay by Faster Payment and something goes wrong, you might need legal help if there's no dispute resolution service we can use to help you.

Remember – if you're not sure that you're paying a legitimate company, or for a legitimate product or service, we recommend that you don't make the payment. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
