Paying someone
To pay someone with a Monzo account, you need to have them as a contact in your phone.
You can pay anyone with a UK account by email, text or through social media (like Facebook) without their bank details.
Or you can send a regular bank transfer. To do this, you'll need:
the person's name
their account number
their sort code
Bank transfers should be instant, but can take up to 4 hours. Contact us if it takes longer than the end of the next working day.
To send money, tap the Payments icon in the menu bar and choose how to make the payment.
You might also need to give your bank’s address: Monzo, Broadwalk House, 5 Appold Street, London EC2A 2AG.
