Easy bank transfers and how they work

An easy bank transfer is a quicker, more convenient way to add money to Monzo because you don’t have to enter your account details.

With an easy bank transfer, you enter where you want to transfer money from and how much, all in the Monzo app.

We then securely direct you to your other bank’s app or website to approve the payment request. After you've approved the payment, we take care of the rest.

If your bank isn't on the list of supported banks, it's because we haven't connected with it yet.

Easy bank transfers are powered by the Faster Payments scheme, which means the money should arrive instantly. But you should allow for up to 24 hours, just in case.
