Card not accepted for cash deposit

Make sure you swipe your card, rather than using chip and PIN, contactless or typing in the number.

Some PayPoint terminals don’t have a swipe reader built in, so the shopkeeper will need to swipe your card on the till that the terminal's attached to. This is the case at some Co-ops, OneStop and McColls.

If the transaction was declined, you'll get a notification in the app and a declined receipt will be printed.
